WELCOME - This site provides an insight into my career, work and background.

I've been making and managing change in world-class companies for over 30 years. As a Chief Information/Chief Technology Officer I've managed major ($100m+) automation, innovation and globalization programs while managing International IT organizations with budgets of over $200m. During my career I've run consultancy groups, managed high tech business development and done strategic business planning. In doing so, I’ve worked/managed in 30+ countries, typically reporting at, or just below Board level. I’ve reported to Shell’s Committee of Managing Directors, been on the Board of Costain (a $2.5B Public UK company); a member of Wang Global ($5B Boston based) top management team and Digital Service Division’s ($9B now part of HP) executive management team. Additionally I’ve been part of successful multi-billion dollar acquisition and divestment programs.


Now living with my wife in Texas, I independently do business development work with management teams, invest in and work on small start-ups and undertake business technology reviews. I also do pro bono work for non-profit organizations, usually harnessing technology to improve their visibility and operational effectiveness. What time remains is spend with my family, boating, riding my motorcycle, and keeping up to date on technology.
